The Katso service used for identifying users of Customs’ online services is being updated.

Changes to the Katso production environment provided by the Finnish Tax Administration will be made on 4 February 2012 and this will cause a service interruption. Short interruptions may also occur in the shared online identification and payment service of public administration (tunnistus.suomi.fi). If this happens, it is advisable to try again after a while.

The service interruption will begin at 10 am and its estimated duration is two hours. The Katso service will not be available between 10 am and 1 pm for users logging in with a Katso ID. However, the online services can be used during the service interruption by logging in as an unidentified user.
