Foreign trade of goods 2008 - CD-ROM publication

The annual publication (CD-ROM) on the foreign trade of goods containing the figures for 2008 will be published in autumn 2009. The following information published previously on two CD-ROMs will be combined with this year’s publication:
- The most relevant foreign trade time series by country and goods category
- Detailed basic statistics on foreign trade according to the Combined Nomenclature (CN)
- Annual statistics on overall trade and on trade by country according to the SITC goods classification
- Unit value and volume indexes of the foreign trade of goods
- Statistics on transport and traffic
- Special statistics on foreign trade and customs administration
The statistics in the publication provide a reliable image of the development and structure of foreign trade for economic analysis. Foreign trade statistics form an important tool for decision-makers, planners and researchers of both the public and private sector working nationally as well as in the EU and many other international organisations.
This combined publication will be more accessible for statistics users than before because all the relevant foreign trade statistics for 2008 can now be found in the same publication. Subscribers will also save money as regards the costs of delivery.
The publication is easy to use as the statistics are displayed in table format.
